Pilates works more on the muscle tone and yoga more on your flexibility-both very important things.
Seems like you have the right idea. I'd definitely do a 30 minute session of either one of them (maybe alternate) at least 5 days a week. Good luck! :)

Migraine Treatment Made Easy!
You Do Yoga Newsletter December 2011
Article by Matt Eshleman, ERYT500
Happy Holidays from all of us at You Do Yoga ~
We want to thank everyone who made 2011 an amazing year at You Do Yoga! Not only did we see the continued growth of an amazing yoga community at our Over-the-Rhine home in Downtown Cincinnati, we also launched our new Anderson Township studio and have enjoyed a very warm welcome on Cincinnati's East side. Much love and appreciation to all of our wonderful students, teachers, helpers and supporters. A thousand thanks, we couldn't do it without you!
Of course we have to announce a few holiday class cancellations: We will not be holding any classes at the Anderson Township studio on December 24th, 25th, and 31st, but we will open with a full schedule on January 1st. At the Downtown studio we will not be holding any classes on December 25th or January 1st.
Now is also the time of year to remind you of our inclement weather policy: we will close if the City of Cincinnati declares a level 2 or 3 snow emergency. Just to be sure, we suggest that before heading to class you double-check our website for the latest information, or dial the You Do Yoga hotline at 513-258-2002. You can also follow us on Twitter @YouDoYoga and find us on Facebook - we have separate pages for the Downtown and Anderson Township studios. We will always post any changes to the schedule as soon as possible.
Our January schedule is expanding to accommodate your new year's ambitions! We value the feedback that we have received from our patrons, and we always do everything we can to respond to your suggestions and requests. We are adding several new classes to our weekly schedule including Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, Intermediate Hatha Yoga, and more! You can always view and download our full schedule at http://www.YouDoYoga.com
Also in the coming months we will be offering several workshops and special events, including a FREE Introductory Tai Chi workshop on January 14th, Restorative Yoga on January 28th, Reiki, Yoga Nidra, Acro-Yoga, and much more! Keep an eye on our special events page for all the latest information: http://www.youdoyoga.com/Events_Workshops.html
Our next round of Teacher Training starts in January 2012! We are a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance, offering a unique 200 hour yoga teaching certification focusing on functional anatomy, Yin Yoga, Taoist Yoga and meditation. Once again this year we have an eager group of students enrolled in our program, and by June they will be certified yoga instructors! You can find out more about our yoga certification at http://www.youdoyoga.com/Teacher_Training.html
It is our mission to make yoga accessible and affordable to everyone. Due to increased operating expenses to maintain You Do Yoga as a center for personal and spiritual growth we must increase our rates. We assure you that our rates will remain very reasonable and competitive. You will continue to find passes a great way to save and our new Family Membership will provide even more savings for couples and families. The new rates will be posted on our website and will take effect January 1st.
In light of this, it has always been our policy that no sincere student will ever be turned away for lack of funds. If anyone's financial situation is the only thing preventing them from coming to our classes we can find a mutually beneficial arrangement that does not necessarily involve monetary exchange. Truth is, we love to barter! If you are interested in a work trade, we will be interviewing for receptionists who want to work a shift at the front desk in exchange for classes. Contact us if you are interested.
It is worth mentioning that our current rates will be good through the end of this year, so if you are considering purchasing a pass we suggest that you stop by one of our studios or hop on our website now and take advantage of our secure online payments at 2011 prices. We also offer convenient online gift certificates if you are doing any last-minute holiday shopping! http://www.youdoyoga.com/Pay_Online.html
Thanks Again, and have a Happy New Year!
