What is the science behing Yoga? (ref: India)?Looking does not tell the story. Only doing it will tell the story. It changes your body's responses. You learn how your body is constructed. It opens joints, connective tissue. You must do it not just watch it. You learn breathing. It's what happens inside you that is important. It's not about doing certain postures. It's about being in the moment and feeling what's in your body. Getting connected with your body changes everything, including your brain waves. Yoga really works.you got it, it test your flexiblity and helps you relaxI actually just finished yoag :) i like it because its so relaxing and it really stretches your muscles. it alllows you to enter a state of mind where nothing else seems to matter for those minutes and all you can think about is the way your body bends and moves... quite realxinggg actually :)I remeber a story I once read about a man that had been stabbed in the abdomen...and he was able to "slow down" his breathing..and slow down the bleeding...until help got to him...so YOGA that he learned ...helped saved his life...Yoga is to teach you to relax and meditate...to help release stress from your everyday life....Hi darling. Yoga has no a scientific base yet, but It has an experimental results.
