What tree is associated with yoga, health, longevity? It is called the peepal tree.

The symbol of the Tree of Yoga is a sacred tree that shares many of the symbols of the Sacred Tree of the First Nation culture. The Tree of Yoga represents the body/mind as a temple, a body that came with and moves through life with everything it needs. The tree you lean against in the park when done jogging.Yes, it is the Pipal tree
Check out this website:

Here it says; 'In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna said: "I am as strong as the pipal is among trees." Pipal and tulsi play significant roles in Hindu rituals.'
Also, are you familiar with Ashtanga? Ashtanga means "Eight Limbs", which are sometimes described as the eight limbs of the Yoga tree as a practice. This was first mentioned by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras, which are the first known written record of yoga. They are a guide to the different stages in a Sadakha's (Spiritual Questor's) path towards liberation/enlightenment. This is not the same as the very popular Ashtanga Yoga that is taught today by Patabhi Jois.
The eight limbs are:
1) Yama (moral ethics); 2) Niyama (Self Observances); 3) Asana (Posture Practice); 4) Pranayama; 5) Pratyahara (Sense Withdrawal); 6) Dharana (Concentration); 7) Dhyana (Meditation); 8) Samadhi (Liberation/Self-Realization/Enlightenment)It is called peepal tree.
