which yoga method do you think is best?MTV has a great Yoga Dvd out! I got mine at Wal-mart! It's in a red case and it's labeled MTV presents Yoga. I like it, it's fun!No oneAny actually, they are all along the same principle. So basically just try em out and see what works best for you and your skill/flexability level...

Most of all, if you are not having fun, it's not for you!Look for videos, etc... by Rodney Yee. He is laid back but really works to strengthen the body. My yoga instructor (she is 65, Lee Edgren of Indianapolis, Indiana, and looks fabulous) studied with him and studied in India for some time. He has some great videos. I would suggest trying to find a good yoga studio in your town to help learn the correct positions. Just remember that you may feel "stretched", but yoga poses are not supposed to hurt (although if you don't work out regularly your body will feel it the next day). Adjustments can be made for your body and your movements will grow with time and practice.If you want to lose weight, Yoga is not the exercise for you - Yoga does not help you lose weight - also, there are various types of yoga, they are not all low impact, there are some dynamic yoga that really work up a sweat - which is also not for you.

If you want to lose weight and burn fat directly, the Greatest form of exercise is WALKING

Walking is an aerobic exercise, which means your body is taking in oxygen and your heart is being worked but not too much - walking will burn fat DIRECTLY

In order to lose 'fat' you need oxygen to break down the fat cells, when you start over-exerting and start sweating, oxygen no longer reach the fat cells and you start burning carbohydrates.

However, the best way for you to lose weight, considering that you do not wish to exert yourself too much is:

Eat less but regularly, have a good varied diet, plenty of fruit and veg.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER - water increases your metabolism and helps you lose weight as well as flushing out toxins.

Low calorie remember, the more calories you intake the more you must lose, the less you take in, the less you have to exercise.
