Yoga question?

Yoga question?YOGA is GREAT when it comes to getting in shape. it helps you mind and body! it is very good for relaxing if you do it right with no interuptions as well. it will definately help the stress in your life! so get out those yoga videos and use them!! :D

-Rachel♥yes! i went to yoga thinking it was all about humming and mental thinking when it is all about strength and flexibility. it is the best work out anyone could possibly do! it clears the mind and helps with balance and posture and gives you a dancers body! it is also a wonderful way of controlling emotions and stress, and that is certainly what you need during this difficult time. i recommend yoga.if you do a mixture of Pilate's and yoga your body will tone up and the muscles will lengthen and look incredible.
Give your self 3 months to learn the routines and you will notice a huge improvement and gain self confidence !

i did that routine for 7 years and really sorry that i stopped attending the gym for the past 4 years.... tsk tsk

hey maybe we could go together !yoga is a great stress reliever and can strengthen muscles and balance. it can also add to your flexibility. im very very sorry about your sister. yoga mostly focuses on u getting in touch with yourself. u can feel the areas u have the most tension and learn to let it go. it will also help u feel where emotional problems may arise and can help u deal with the difficult emotions u must be feeling. i would try to go to a yoga instructor who u feel comfortable with.really after u go down the path of yoga u strengthen body and mind to deal with the stresses of life which can cripple us.once we know who we are then maybe we can connect ourselves to that something grandiose we feel the need to find and hopefully realize it was within us the whole time.First, my condolences to you. What a terrible thing to happen, you have my sympathy.

Yes! Yoga is wonderful!

Same thing here, I bought these tapes & they sat around for a couple of years. I started using them about 8 months ago & the change has been dramatic. I have an AM Yoga tape I use to get stretched out & energized after waking up & a PM Yoga tape that helps to relax me. My sleep has improved tremendously. I am so much better rested now. Practicing Yoga strengthens & tones muscles. I was so amazed when I first noticed my upper arms & thighs became much more defined.

I, too, suffered many loses this year - step son, son-in-law, my pomeranian (all very young). Grieving is very draining, emotionally & physically. I'm so happy right now that I decided to give those tapes a chance. Yoga will give you an opportunity to center & calm yourself. Yoga will also help re-focus you for a little while & this will be very beneficial for you, to have a 'break' from the sadness. There will be calming music. You will feel a little more 'at peace' during this difficult time.

A couple of other things: Do not expect immediate results, stick with it for at least a month. Do it as a treat for yourself, force yourself to do it even when you don't feel like it. Once you start your Yoga session, you will get 'in the zone' & it will be ok.

Good luck to you!
