Pudge problem, women only pls?I am also on Depo, and I am thinking about getting off of it. Yes, hormonal wieght is hard to lose. I am trying also. Once the depo is out of your system, it should get a little easier. Good luck.if it runs in your family to have big bottoms than you cant do much.but if its all due to hormonal weight gain than just stick wit the gym for a while its going to take time to show results.I too have problems with hormones, and finally found Alesse. I am very happy with it. As far as the weight gain, the pill, the patch, depo, Norplant, and whatever kind of hormonal contraceptive you can think of work by making your body think it's pregnant so it doesn't release any eggs. But by doing this, you may suffer the same symptoms as a pregnancy (weight gain esp hips and lower half, breast enlargement, moodiness, nausea, acne, and others). Switch over to Alesse, continue with your exercise (at least 1 hour of cardio 3 times a week), work out with free weights as well (muscle burns fat) and diet (nothing major, cut junk foods, 3 small healthy meals a day, and 2 small healthy snacks) and take a women's multivitamin. You will lose weight slowly, but it will be the right way and the weight will stay off.The weight you are gaining while exercising might be muscle mass. The cellulite is not going to go away, it is just how your body is built, but you may be able to minimize it by exercising like you are doing.Ok, first let me say that people gain weight differently. You are lucky that you gain on your lower half because that puts less strain on your heart. The question of weight is hard because we don't know your eating habits. Here are some suggestions though. STOP drinking sodas of all kinds. Even diet. If you think you will struggle with this start by cutting your intake in half, then in half again, etc. until you no longer want them. I know you have heard this over and over, but drink lots of water!!!!!! Don't even drink tea (the caffeine makes you hungry). Now start eating smaller portions. don't cut out the things you love like pasta just have as much in one sitting. If you can, eat really small meals every couple of hours or so. That will raise your metabolism. Cut way back on deserts, but don't give them up! When you are feeling a craving coming on get those assorted mini Hersey's and have TWO of them. That will satisfy the craving. Finally, you can combat the cellulite with just some regular message oil or lotion and message mitten of some sort. (Slumber Parties has an awesome one!!!) And spend about an half hour every night massaging that area. You will see that over a few month time it will start to smooth out. Hope this helps!!!
