Here is another sequence to open your hips with hip yoga. Very beneficial for dancers and athletes.

Has anyone experienced wider hips from doing yoga?Hips are bone. You cannot add bone. Perhaps you lost waist fat making your hips look larger in comparison. If that is the case, that's excellent.The only way yoga helps to lengthen any portion of the body (usually the spine) is due to the realignment of misaligned bones. You are not going to get wider hips from doing yoga, only more flexible and open hips, as in being able to fold over more easily.
Don't worry, no big hips! :)
